i am thinking with my team of going to bonneville with a wankel turbo kart…to see what we can do. 75+ hp but it has normal kart weight.

You Obviously havent been to Bonneville , tire slip is a big problem , at the start and topend for all vehicles , we hit 143.5 this year with great salt and there was a very nice 250 gp kart there with a 110 mph top speed . Come out to the salt and try for your self !

121 only??? 250cc class cart hit 168mph on road… I don’t see how salt would make any difference besides traction? your obviously not spinning tires at 120, so what gives?

A shifter kart with 250 can am engine had trouble breaking 100 on the the great salt in 2008 this isnt on pavement ,it is on Salt !
