They have a hint of black sabath in some songs. This sounds the best of what i have heard but some of them just dont even push the adrenaline around your vains. But i’ll stay open minded till the albums out.

I like this band. I very rarely put them on but they are the best ‘new’ english band around at the moment i think. however that is in fact the exact riff, with the same lead line, as very ape. And of course they fucking know it, what 23 year old guitar player hasn’t heard every nirvana song. The rest of the song is actually pretty sweet. They definately responded to having josh homme around.

Can you really imagine listening to a band that sings the same eleven songs for three straight albums? I mean, their first album’s brilliant, but so’s the new stuff — in an entirely different way. It’s fair to say you’re not digging the new direction, but if they stayed the same they would inevitably become bloated parodies of themselves and lose all respect, from their fans and critics alike.
